Piles for a refinery

In Gdańsk, in the north of the country, the Italian group Kinetics Technology, charged, on a general contracting basis, with extending the Lotos refinery, has awarded Soletanche Polska, a Polish subsidiary of Soletanche Bachy (VINCI Construction), a contract for the creation of 2,500 foundation piles. Up to 24.5 m in depth, these continuous flight auger bored piles will serve as foundations for the facility’s new coking and hydrogen generation units. The works should be completed by late July 2016.
Contract value: €3m.
