Offshore drilling and end of contract

On 18 March, in Macaé (State of Rio de Janeiro), HDI, the horizontal directional drilling specialist of the Entrepose Group (VINCI Construction), installed the 1,300 m-long steel tube of the Rota Cabiunas landfall on behalf of Petrobras. This operation marks the completion of the contract signed in 2012 by HDI, Intech and Saipem for the implementation engineering, the construction and operation of the onshore accommodation site, maritime support by barge and the horizontal directional drilling for the installation. This project follows others already implemented by Petrobras: the Fazenda Alegre (2005) and Sul Capixaba (2009) landfalls.
