New terminal at Dushanbe Airport

The new international terminal at Dushanbe Airport (Tajikistan) was officially opened on 3 September 2014. Launched in March 2013, the project employed a workforce of almost 150 people, 130 of them Tajiks. This 12,000 sq. metre terminal can handle some 1.5 million passengers a year and enables the airport to meet international standards in terms of quality of service and safety. VINCI Airports (VINCI Concessions) provided assistance to the client in defining the functions of the terminal, assistance to the airport teams during the design and planning and the works, staff training and the commissioning of the terminal. VINCI Construction Grands Projets supplied the design and construction of the building on a general contracting basis as well as the implementation of the airport equipment and the operational systems.
