In Cayenne, Caraib Moter (Eurovia) is currently working on the reconstruction of Quay 2 in the port of Dégrad-des-Cannes. The rehabilitation of the weakened quay will enable it to provide docking and unloading facilities for ships, and the handling of goods on the associated landside area, for the next fifty years. The works involve underpinning the existing quay wall and the reconstruction of the landside areas and drainage networks. Handover is scheduled for May 2014.
Contract value: €17.7m for Caraib Moter.
