New multimodal transport hub in Morlaix
15 November 2017 - Projects update and handover - France
A joint venture led by Eurovia Morlaix is currently completing the development of the public spaces of the new multimodal transport hub in Morlaix (Brittany).
The works are closely connected with two projects of major importance for the town: the new Brittany-Pays de la Loire high-speed line and the regeneration of the area around the railway station, for which this transport hub is emblematic.
For the earthworks, the road and network works, three Eurovia teams were formed to work simultaneously on the two station forecourts, the bus station and four parking zones designated for different uses. In order to help people understand the purpose of the various traffic areas (about 20 different types of roadways and pavements), the decorative asphalt Agrévia®, was used, enabling each type of surface to be given its own individual aspect and colour.
