New hospital in Kraków

Warbud (VINCI Construction International Network) has won the contract to build the new UJCM Kraków-Prokocim hospital in Kraków: the works, to be undertaken by a consortium, start this month. Located to the south-west of the historic centre of the old town, this teaching hospital will be built alongside the existing facilities of the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum. With a surface area of 108,000 sq. metres, the establishment will be erected on a 15-hectare site and comprise 8 buildings of up to 8 storeys (including 2 underground levels). The contract also includes supplying specialised medical technology and equipment. Handover is scheduled for spring 2019.
