New global maintenance contract for Total E&P

Cegelec Oil & Gas Opérations et Maintenance and Cegelec Congo (VINCI Energies GSS) have signed a global maintenance contract with Total E&P Congo in connection with the Moho Nord offshore project. The new installation, which comprises a floating production unit and a tension leg platform, will be capable of producing up to 140,000 barrels of oil a day. The contract, which will employ a team of about 100 people as of mid-2016, covers the multi-technology maintenance (electrical, instrumentation and mechanical) of all the equipment.

On completion of their training programme, the Congolese technicians recruited within the framework of the contract will join Cegelec’s operational teams. Total contract value: €37m. Cegelec Oil & Gas Opérations et Maintenance has, in addition, secured an engineering, maintenance and inspection contract worth €8.4m.
