New-generation wildlife crossing
1 December 2016 - Projects update and handover - France
To the south of Tours (central France), on the A10, teams from VINCI Construction Terrassement have designed and built a new-generation crossing for large fauna on behalf of VINCI Autoroutes.
Located near Sorigny, this structure differs by its dimensions (width: 12 m; length: 50 m) and creates ecological continuity above the SEA high-speed line and the carriageways of the A10. Given major operational constraints, it has taken a year of works to build this structure. The first animals will be able to use the crossing as of late 2016.
