New fishing port for Casablanca

Dumez Maroc (Sogea-Satom/VINCI Construction) has been appointed by Morocco’s national ports authority (ANP) to create the new fishing port in Casablanca. The project will involve building a main breakwater (715 lm), a secondary break- water (500 lm), two quays (325 lm and 145 lm respectively), 11 hectares of quayside surfaces, a slipway (70 lm) and 240 lm of floating landing stages, as well as dredging the channel and the basins. The works began in February 2015, with completion scheduled for, at the latest, January 2017.
