Late December 2016 saw Probisa (Eurovia) teams complete works aimed at improving the link between the A30 motorway, connecting Madrid and Murcia, and the A7, which runs along the Mediterranean coast to link Barcelona with the south of the country.

This project involved widening the A30 from two to three lanes over a distance of 2 km in the direction of Madrid in order to eliminate bottlenecks, the aim being to improve motorway entrances and exits.

And the interchange was replaced by two structures aimed at easing the flow of the region’s extremely dense traffic (100,000 vehicles a day, 20% of them heavy goods vehicles).
