In July 2015, Hubbard Construction (Eurovia) secured four major new road infrastructure contracts for the Florida Department of Transportation as part of its plan for the upgrading and development of the state’s roads. They concern the widening of State Road 528, in Orlando, and the construction of new access bridges; the improvement of the lanes on International Drive, a major artery in Orange County, in the east of the state; supplying and applying mix for the I-4 motorway project, in the centre of the state, where the works will extend over the next six years; and finally the reconstruction and widening of a 2.4 km-long section of State Road 21, in the north of the state. Total value of these contracts: €185m. In addition, Hubbard Construction is already working on Florida State Road 710 (development of passing lanes) and on Florida State Road 50 (reconstruction of two bridges over the Econlockhatchee River to the east of Orlando).
