Modernising a road network

On 20 May, in the north-west of the country, Eurovia CS launched a project to upgrade the Hroznětín road network (road II/221). Due to last some 16 months, the aim of these works, undertaken on behalf of the Karlovy Vary region, is to ease congestion in the town centre and improve the quality of the regional road network as well as traffic flow in the east-west and north-south directions. The entire modernisation project will be divided up into 67 separate worksites, of which one of the most complex will involve the construction of a 140 m-long bridge.
Total contract value: €15.8m.
