Maintenance of motorway surfaces

Bitumix (Eurovia) has just been awarded a new contract by motorway concessionnaire Abertis for the maintenance of the surfaces of the motorways around Santiago (Rutas 68, 78 and 57), Los Andes concession (Ruta 60) and El Elqui concession between Los Vilos and La Serena (Ruta 5 Norte). The works began in May 2015 and will be completed by the end of the year. They involve the preparation of the base layer and the application of hot and cold mix. The contract also calls for the application of dust suppression treatments and the waterproofing of bridge decks.
