Maintenance contracts for trunk roads

The authorities responsible for trunk roads in the Bucharest and Craiova regions (in the south and south-west of the country) have awarded Viarom (Eurovia) six contracts for the maintenance of such roads for a period of two years (2015-2017).

These contracts call for the application of cold mix surfacing on the trunk road network, and traditional mix on four sections of secondary road. The maximum surface area involved is 4.6 million sq. metres, i.e. some 668 km of roadway.
Total value of the contracts: €13m.
