15 May 2012 - New contracts - France

Since 21 March 2012, the Montparnasse tower building in Paris has enjoyed new night-time lighting, designed by Régis Clouzet and created by Citéos (VINCI Energies). The installation works were carried out at night, over a period of eight months, in partnership with Philips Lighting. Almost 40,000 coloured light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and 58 slow-light pulse spotlights are managed by a centralised programming system, capable of creating evolving light settings. The new system has reduced energy consumption by more than 90% compared with the previous installation.
