Light over Goussainville

VINCI Concessions, Cegelec Paris and Citéos IdF Exploitation (both VINCI Energies France business units) have won the partnership contract for the urban lighting in the town of Goussainville (Paris region).
The contract, for a period of 15 years as of 1st January 2012, covers the financing, construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of the urban lighting system (i.e. 3,200 light sources, 5 crossroads with traffic lights and the lighting at two sports complexes) and festive lighting arrangements. It also calls for the creation of a fibre optic network linking the various local council buildings.
The works, taking 2 years to complete and worth a total of 8 million euros, will be supplied by Cegelec Paris, which will also be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the various installations. Citéos IdF Exploitation will assist with the deployment of the operating equipment.
