Launch of the intelligent and connected window “Horizon”

VINCI Construction and Sunpartner Technologies, a French specialist in the field of solar innovation, announce the creation of a 50/50 joint venture and launch “Horizon”, an intelligent and connected window.

Equipped with transparent photovoltaic panels and several sunlight sensors, “Horizon” is an opacifying and communicating window, which can be adapted for all building projects, from new-build to refurb.

It offers a solution enabling a window, a sunbreak and a blind to be provided together as a single product. Being connected, it can be remote controlled via a smartphone, a remote control or the building’s building automation system.

 Thanks to this partnership (concluded in April 2016), VINCI Construction and Sunpartner Technologies are combining their respective know-hows to develop new and innovative solutions making all surfaces of the envelope of buildings intelligent, connected and energy-producing.
