Insulating and equipping an offshore platform

Nobiskrug, the builder of luxury ships and yachts, has awarded G+H Marine (VINCI Energies International) a contract to supply and install the insulation, as well as fit out and equip an offshore platform (2,500 sq. metres; 5 levels). This will be used to accommodate 50 to 60 people in the DanTysk offshore wind farm, located in the North Sea, 70 km from the island of Sylt. Operated like a hotel, this platform will be composed of cabins and communal spaces, notably including a library, a cinema and a sports centre. The preparatory and construction works started in March 2013. The equipment works phase will run from February to August 2014.
