Warbud (VINCI Construction Central Europe Subsidiaries), as leader of a consortium with PPH Transsystem, is working on the turnkey construction of a new unit at the Bielsko-Biala cogeneration power plant, located in the south of the country, on behalf of Tauron (formerly PKE). The works, worth €5.6m, began in June 2011 and are due for completion in March 2013. Within the framework of this project, the consortium has entrusted Cegelec Poland (International Division, Energy business line) with the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) works package and part of the electrical installations, namely supplying the switchgears and transformers, and the fire protection system. Contract value: €1m.
