Implementation of an unusual project in the Paris region

The teams from the Île-de-France Nord agency from VINCI Construction Terrassement are currently working on Placo Saint-Gobain’s gypsum quarries in the Seine-et-Marne department.

Around 50 employees are applying their expertise in major projects, due to the extensive volumes handled, high-paced work and material used in a very urban sector.

At the end of the project, in three years’ time, the teams will have excavated a total of 4.5 million m3.
