Hundredth voussoir cast for future high-speed line

On 16 November 2012, teams from Cosea SGI (Dodin Campenon Bernard, VINCI Construction Grands Projets and VINCI Construction France) cast the hundredth voussoir at the Coulombiers prefabrication plant, to the south of Poitiers (western France). Specially created for the LGV SEA Tours-Bordeaux project, this plant will ultimately produce 1,097 standard voussoirs and 243 special voussoirs for the 7 bridges and viaducts of the future LGV. Prefabricated in prestressed concrete, these segments, the heaviest weighing 65 t, are being stored at the plant until sent, as abnormal loads, to their destination sites.
