Housing projects in east of France

In Schiltigheim, on the outskirts of Strasbourg, on a brownfield site once occupied by France Télécom, Urban Dumez (VINCI Construction France) has just begun building, on a general contracting basis, on behalf of Nexity, a residential complex comprising six buildings (271 homes).
Contract value: €19m.
In Strasbourg, the company has in addition been awarded the second phase of the Forges project, involving the construction, for VINCI Immobilier, of 75 homes and a car park by summer 2017.
And in the Amphithéâtre integrated development zone (ZAC) in Metz (east of France), GTM Hallé, also a VINCI Construction France subsidiary, is for its part creating, on a general contracting basis, 92 homes on behalf of social landlord Batigère. The operation comprises four buildings built on top of the top slab of the Muse retail centre.
Value of the works: €7m.
