Horizontal drilling under the Garonne

Between Bruges and Marquis (west of France), as part of the construction of a 225 kV overhead-underground power line on behalf of RTE, HDI(Horizontal Drilling International), a subsidiary of Spiecapag (Groupe Entrepose/VINCI Construction), in late November 2014 completed a 1,181 m-long horizontal directional drilling operation to cross the Garonne river. The works took 8 months.
