On the A15 motorway, one of the main traffic arteries in the Montreal metropolitan area, teams from Eurovia Quebec carried out major re-asphalting works in late summer 2015, aimed at eliminating aquaplanning problems experienced at times of heavy rain and reducing the impact of traffic noise in nearby residential areas. A new surface layer was applied, simultaneously, on all four traffic lanes and the two shoulders. Undertaken on behalf of the Quebec Ministry of Transport, the works were carried out at night during very short periods of six hours.
