The joint venture formed by HEB Construction (VINCI Construction International Network), Downer, Tonkin & Taylor, Aecom, NZTA and the DIA has just completed development works on the quay in Waitangi, in the Chatham Islands.

It receives shipments essential for the archipelago on a daily basis (fuel for the electricity network and air services, for example). The project notably involved the construction of a breakwater, enlarging the freight handling zone, improving the loading dock for fishermen and the creation of a biodiversity zone.
