In preparation for the installation of a 40-turbine wind farm at Rougemont (east of France), Soletanche Bachy (VINCI Construction), on behalf of the Velocita Group, is to treat karst cavities present in certain parts of the site at a depth of 25 m. The solution consists of drilling holes using mobile drilling equipment and filling them by injecting cement grout. In total, 19,000 m of drilling is planned, and 4,000 cu. metres of grout will be injected.
