Four contracts

Sogea Maroc (VINCI Construction) has just secured four contracts in the Casablanca region. Three of them were awarded by Lyonnaise des Eaux de Casablanca (LYDEC). They involve supplying the civil engineering for the Zenata pumping station, in collaboration with Cegelec Maroc (VINCI Energies International) for the power supply/automation side, and for the Sidi Bernoussi pre-treatment plant, and manufacturing and supplying 1,050 m of DN 2100 steel-lined pipes for the sea outfall from the pre-treatment plant (created by CSM Bessac, a subsidiary of Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction). In addition, ONEE (the national water and electricity office) has awarded Sogea Maroc a works package involving trebling the supply of drinking water to Casablanca from Rabat. Here, the company will supply and lay 11,400 lm of DN 2000 pipes.
Total value of these contracts for Sogea Maroc: €38.7m.
