Foundations for the highest tower in Lyon

In the Part-Dieu business neighbourhood in Lyon (central France), Soletanche Bachy Pieux, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction), has just won the contract for the foundations of the Incity tower building. This 200 m high structure will be the highest in the city (housing 42,000 sq. metres of office space on 39 floors). Soletanche Bachy Pieux will notably drill
112 Starsol piles (hollow auger technique) which will be an- chored at a depth of 23 m. The works began in August 2012.
Contract value: €1.5m.
