First tram line in Dijon comes into service

On 1 and 2 September 2012, the consortium notably comprising Eurovia Bourgogne, leader, ETF-Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires and CBR TP Lyon (VINCI Construction France) opened the first tram line in Dijon (central France). Awarded to the consortium by the Greater Dijon local authorities, works package 1 involved, in particular, the creation of the infrastructure (including laying the tracks in the maintenance centre), and the platforms and equipment of the southern section, between Chenôve and Place Darcy, i.e. 11 stops and 7 km (of what will be a 20 km-long network with two lines). The second tram line will come into service in December 2012.
Contract value (works package 1): €43.3 million, of which €30.5 million for the Group companies.
