Fire protection for the Flamanville EPR

Nuvia (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) is in charge of the planning, project management and installation of the fire protection for the Flamanville EPR, currently under construction in Normandy.

More than 100 Nuvia colleagues, supported by scaffolders from Nuvia Access, are installing NuviaTech Protection solutions at the site (high-performance firestop products intended for complex environments such as nuclear sites and tunnels).

The works include 3,200 crossings, 2,500 lm of shielding for electric cable trays and 2,000 sq. metres of protective covers for ventilation pipes.
