Fire detection and access control for conveyor system

Cegelec Dresden (VINCI Energies International) has been charged with supplying the fire detection and access control for a system of conveyors transporting lignite from the Nochten opencast mine to the Boxberg power station (Saxony). Undertaken on behalf of electricity producer Vattenfall, the contract covers the design, supply and assembly of the video surveillance system as well as the data transfer installations. The business unit will also maintain the infrastructure for two years.
Contract value: €2m.
