Final phase for CRH/UBH interchange

Within the framework of the implementation of Package C of the Churchill-Roosevelt/Uriah Butler interchange project, in the inner suburbs of Port of Spain, VINCI Construction Grands Projets has won a new contract, to build the slip roads to the bridge currently under construction. The contract covers consolidation of the subsoil (some 1,000 rigid inclusions), more than 100,000 cu. metres of earthworks and building almost 2,000 sq. metres of Reinforced Earth® walls, as well as the construction of a rigid frame bridge.
Worth €28.5m, they began in March 2012 and will take 15 months to complete.
