Extension of Gabriel-Montpied stadium in Clermont-Ferrand

On the first phase of the extension works at Gabriel-Montpied stadium, north of Clermont-Ferrand (central France), the consortium made up of VINCI Construction subsidiaries Campenon Bernard Centre-Est, Dumez Auvergne and Botte Fondations is building the structure and foundations for the east stand.

The operation involves construction of a 5,872-seat covered stand, which will increase the stadium’s capacity from 12,300 to 16,200 spectators, ancillary facilities (including the changing rooms and the enclosure to cover and connect the three stands that will be built over time), and outdoor upgrades (a 10,000 sq. metre plaza and access-control area, and a 12,500 sq. metre car park). Handover is scheduled in autumn 2025.
