Since the end of 2017, the ETF (Eurovia) and TSO joint venture has been building the rail infrastructure for the RATP in order to extend the Line 11 of the Paris metro.

The operation is designed to double the length of the line to span 12.4km in total by the end of the project. The joint venture is also responsible for the guidance system, as well as a specific track for train maintenance only and the walk ways on each side of the tunnel. The Mairie des Lilas and Rosny-sous-Bois stations will be connected by the construction of six new stations.

By improving mobility through serving a pool of approximately 85,000 jobs, the new infrastructure will help to optimise urban development in the eastern Paris region and increase the appeal of the area.

The line is expected to enter into service at the end of 2022.
