Enlarging the Parc des Expositions in Bordeaux

Teams from GTM Bâtiment Aquitaine (VINCI Construction France) are currently enlarging the exhibition centre in Bordeaux (west of France).

The works include creating a new entrance hall (8,000 sq. metres), offices on the centre’s forecourt, and a stand, seating 6,000 people, with movable terraces and walls. Together, these developments will form a new, 12,500 sq. metre complex. After two months spent preparing the project (finalising the technical details and validation of the plans), the worksite was installed in March followed by the drilling for the first piles and the first concrete works. In total, 60 GTM Batîment Aquitaine employees will be deployed on this project which, launched in December 2017, is scheduled for handover in December 2018.
