Electrical and HVAC equipment for two prisons

Cegelec Belgium Building Projects (VINCI Energies International) has been ap­pointed by the BAM-Galère consortium to equip two new prisons, in Beveren and in Dendermonde. These estab­lishments, each with a surface area of some 15,000 sq. metres, will both be composed of four buildings. The company will be responsible for the electrical works packages (notably the high- and low-voltage electrical installations, access control, video surveillance, emergency power supply) and the HVAC works package (heating, ventilation, air conditioning). The works will be carried out between April 2012 and January 2014.
