Dismantling and reconstruction of the Izeron bridge

A consortium notably comprising GTM TP Lyon, leader, and Campenon Bernard Régions (both VINCI Construction France subsidiaries) has won the contract to demolish and rebuild the Izeron bridge (over the Isère), which links the communes of Izeron and Saint-Sauveur (south-east France). The consortium will dismantle the existing structure, a suspension bridge with a span of 166 m, as well as demolishing the pylons, concrete foundations and access roads. The new structure will be 258 m in length.
Worth a total of €13.2m, the works will start in February 2013 and take two years to complete.
