Developing the seafront in Calais

Eurovia’s Pas-de-Calais – Calais office, as leader of a consortium, has recently begun developing the seafront in Calais.
Scheduled to take 36 months, the project will mainly involve earthworks and roadworks, and the creation of 16 recreation dunes. By creating a landscaped park with views over the seafront, and a new access road to the sea, the town authorities hope to turn Calais into a real seaside resort. Project handover is scheduled for early 2019.
Value of the works for Eurovia: €4.6m.
