Developing a ski slope

Benedetti-Guelpa (VINCI Construction Terrassement) has just started developing a ski slope on behalf of the Les Houches – Saint Gervais ski area SIVU (single-purpose intercommunal syndicate), in the Haute-Savoie department (south-eastern France), in preparation for France hosting the Alpine Ski World Cup, in 2020.

The works also involve developing the finishing area, as well as the associated structures and various utility networks. The particular nature of this worksite is due to the terrain (steep slope, damp ground) and the fact several works packages are being tackled simultaneously in order to meet the handover deadline, in November 2019.
