Design-build of an underground car park

Sub-contracting for a consortium headed by TIAB Infra (VINCI Energies Europe), Soletanche Bachy Roumanie (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) has been awarded the design/build contract for a new, 320-space underground car park in Bucharest. The project includes the excavation works, structural works and the structure’s steel-frame roof. The company suggested various alternatives to the basic solution – dimensions of the beams and slabs, drainage system. The works began early in July 2015 and are due for completion in June 2016.
