Cut-and-cover tunnel at airport

In connection with the construction of the new East terminal at Geneva International Airport, VINCI Construction France has been appointed to create, on a general contracting basis, the cut-and-cover tunnel that will enable the customs road to be routed underground. A consortium composed of CBR TP and GTM TP Lyon (VINCI Construction France) as well as Rampini SA will undertake the civil engineering works. Sif Groutbor, a Soletanche Bachy subsidiary (VINCI Construction), is charged with the special works, and Etavis (VINCI Energies International) with the networks side (power network, lighting, fibre optics and supervision).
The works began in mid-August 2013 and will take 15 months to complete. Contract value: €36.7m.
