Creating a boulevard

In Plymouth, South West Highways (Eurovia) has secured one of Plymouth City Council’s main programmes for the city’s public space and new motorways, namely the creation of Millbay Boulevard.

Its design and construction will include transforming Bath Street into an arterial road connecting the city centre with the seafront, thus enhancing their accessibility. The new boulevard will also feature numerous development projects, including 300 new homes, a hotel and a shopping area.

This major project aims to modernise this part of the city by creating a lively and attractive public space for both residents and visitors.

The works are scheduled to start in March 2019.
