Construction of the new Orsay conservatoire

Verdoïa, a VINCI Construction France subsidiary, is currently building the new Orsay “Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental” (departmental conservatoire) in the Essonne department (Paris region).

The complex will comprise four functional units: a three-storey building, a pavilion, a 299-seat auditorium and a two-storey building that will house the drama and dance rooms.
The works involve the construction of the music conservatoire and the demolition and reconstruction of the university campus security post. Located at the East entrance of Paris-Saclay University, this new 4,655 sq. metre facility will accommodate 1,000 students and 72 teachers as of the start of the 2017 academic year.
