Construction of Sibiti Airport

SGE-C Congo, a Congolese subsidiary of Sogea-Satom (VINCI Construction), has won the contract to create the future Sibiti Airport, 300 km to the west of Brazzaville. The works involve building a runway (length: 2,050 m; width: 45 m), capable of handling Boeing B737-type planes. SGE-C Congo must also supply a taxiway, the tarmac, a car park and an access road. Total value of the works: €33m.
Handover is to coincide with the celebration of the country’s National Day in Sibiti, in August 2014.
