Construction of an eco-college

Verdoïa (VINCI Construction France) has been selected to supply the extended structural works (shell, envelope plus the external works) for the new secondary school in Montevrain (Paris region).

Designed by architects JF Laurent, this eco-college (capacity: 800 students) will meet the requirements of the eco-neighbourhood in which it will be located by adopting a highly environmental approach, aiming to achieve HEQ ‘Excellent’ certification and using hemp concrete and recycled concrete.

With a surface area of 7,547 sq. metres, it will provide 27 classrooms, 6 of them dedicated to poly-technology, the visual arts, music and experimental sciences.

The works, on a general contracting basis, will last 20 months, with handover scheduled for April 2019.
