Construction of a wooden building: Woodwork

In Saint-Denis, by Paris, a joint venture composed of Arbonis (leader) and Sogea Picardie (both VINCI Construction France) is currently building Woodwork, a wooden office building (9,500 sq. metres; 7 storeys), on behalf of Woodeum.

These offices in low-carbon solid wood will contribute to the well-being of their future occupants, and the building also features large bay windows, a 500 sq. metre garden, and balconies and terraces (1,200 sq. metres) at each level. It will have the BBCA label (for its carbon footprint measurement), and BREEAM Very good and NF HQE – Excellent and E+C- certification. The works, which started in January 2019, should be completed in August 2020.
