Construction of a retirement village in London

VINCI Construction UK has just started building a retirement village in Battersea, in London. In association with LifeCare Residences, a British property developer, the company is charged with the construction of 109 homes for people aged over 65, associated communal facilities (library, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, etc.), and a 30-bed “real” old people’s home. The residential accommodation will be split between three properties, alongside Battersea Park.
Handover is scheduled for September 2015. Value of the works: £31.7m (about €37.4m).
