Construction of a 63 km-long gas pipeline

The consortium led by Spiecapag, an Entrepose Contracting subsidiary (VINCI Construction), has secured a contract, for GRT Gaz, for the design and planning, construction and assistance with the commissioning of a gas pipeline (total length: 63 kilometres) and several block valve stations. Located between Villeneuve-La-Lionne and Dierrey-Saint-Julien (north-east of France), the pipeline will cross the Seine River in a micro-tunnel near Pont-sur-Seine. This project forms part of the planned development of the gas transmission infrastructure in the north of France, in connection with the construction of the new LNG terminal at Dunkirk.
Worth a total of more than €60m, the works are due to start in the first quarter of 2014, taking some 8 months to complete.
