Completion of works on the D8

On 17 December 2016, Eurovia CS completed the construction of the final section of the D8 between Lovosice and Řehlovice. It was inaugurated on the same day.

16.5 km in length, it features 28 bridges, 3 intersections and 11 noise barriers. This cross-border motorway, the first section of which was built 25 years ago, now links the cities of Dresden (Germany) and Prague (Czech Republic) and will play an important role for North/South connections on a European level.

This inauguration marks the end of a project on which Eurovia CS has been working since 2006 and which was affected by a major landslide in 2013, cleared by Eurovia CS.
