Completion of bridge over Isère

To the west of Grenoble, in the Isère department (south-east France), the Izeron Bridge was inaugurated on 10 July 2015 in the presence of, among others, Jean-Pierre Barbier, president of the department’s Council and an MP for the department. Completed in 28 months by VINCI Construction France TP Lyon, Campenon Bernard Régions and the Structures Engineering design office (three VINCI Construction France entities), the works involved demolishing the existing suspension bridge and building a new structure with a central span bridging the 180 m-long gap over the Isère river.
